Terms of Service
The short version: read the site, link to it, talk to us. Don’t copy it, don’t attack it, and don’t send us secrets before we’ve signed an NDA. Anything about an actual project lives in the agreement we both sign, not on this page.
What this covers
These terms apply to appps.io and its subdomains: reading the site, following its links, and sending us a message through the contact form. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, the site is free to leave.
They do not cover any project we do for you. Paid work runs on a separate signed agreement covering scope, price, timeline, ownership, and confidentiality. Nothing on this page changes anything in that agreement, and if the two ever disagree, the signed agreement wins.
Working with us
Everything on this site is an invitation to talk, not an offer. Prices, budget bands, timelines, and capability descriptions are indicative. Sending the contact form does not create a contract, reserve capacity, or oblige us to take the work, and it does not oblige you to give it to us. A project starts when both sides sign something.
What you send us
You keep ownership of whatever you put in the contact form. You give us permission to read it, store it, and use it to respond and to scope the work you described, and no more than that. How we handle it is set out in our privacy policy.
Please do not send confidential material through the form. It is a web form: it travels by email and sits in our inbox. If your idea needs protecting, say so in one line and we will get an NDA signed before you tell us anything you would not want repeated. Unsolicited material sent before that is not treated as confidential, and we cannot accept an obligation we did not agree to.
You also confirm that what you send is yours to send, is accurate, and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Our content
The design, code, copy, animation, and imagery on this site belong to appps.io or to whoever licensed them to us. The appps.io name and logo are ours. You are welcome to read, link to, and share the site; you are not welcome to copy it wholesale, resell it, or pass it off as your own.
Client work shown on the site is published with permission and remains the property of the client it was made for. Some of it is covered by confidentiality agreements, which is why certain projects appear without a name.
Acceptable use
Use the site normally. Do not attempt to break it, scrape it at volume, probe it for weaknesses, submit anything unlawful or abusive through the form, impersonate anyone, or automate submissions. The contact endpoint is rate-limited; persistent abuse gets blocked.
If you think you have found a security problem, please tell us at [email protected] before telling anyone else. We will take it seriously and we will not come after you for reporting it in good faith.
Links out
The site links to client projects, social profiles, and other outside pages. We do not control any of them and we are not responsible for what they contain or what they do with your data. Once you click, you are their guest.
Availability
We try to keep the site up and correct, but we do not promise it. It may be offline for maintenance, it may change without notice, and a page may be out of date. Nothing on it is professional advice, and you should not make a decision that matters based solely on what a marketing site says.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude any warranty that is not written down here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, or lost business arising from your use of the site.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your liability for a project we do together is dealt with in that project’s agreement, not here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, and the courts of Denver County, Colorado have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer somewhere with stronger local protections, this does not take those away from you.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes, and the version on this page is the one that applies from then on.
